In 2008, following an eight year run of lead female vocals with the hugely successful touring show ‘That’ll Be The Day’, Katy entered - and won - the BBC1 primetime show ‘The One and Only’ for her sensational portrayal of the legendary Dusty Springfield.
Katy makes her first visit to Oakengates after her acclaimed first solo tours and sell-out residencies in Las Vegas and Europe. Katy is delighted to present her brand new one-woman show, celebrating the music and style of the some of the legendary Queens of Pop: from bee-hived soul diva Dusty, through to the iconic Cher, Annie Lennox, Tina Turner and much, much more - fully embracing the concept of ‘Girl Power’ with her exceptional singers and musicians in this hugely entertaining show.
