We have been granted the use of Society Of London Theatre & UK Theatre's 'See It Safely' mark. The mark certifies that we are complying with the latest Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and audiences. You can find out more here  about the measures theatres have been putting in place ready for your visit, and what you will need to know beforehand. 

We're really looking forward to welcoming audiences during the festive season, and ask everyone to comply with the latest guidance to help our venue remain open.

Following the Government announcement on Wednesday 8 December, it is now a legal requirement to wear face coverings when visiting The Place Telford, unless you are exempt.

In accordance with Government advice, you are not currently required to present a Covid Pass (vaccination status or test result) when you visit The Place Telford, but this remains under review and we will let you know about any updates as they occur. When you're booking tickets please make sure we have your up-to-date phone number and email address.

These are the measures we have in place to keep us all safe and comfortable:

Hand sanitizer stations throughout the building and we ask patrons to use these regularly
Upgraded air handling system to constantly circulate fresh air in the auditorium, with regular CO2 monitoring taking place
Enhanced cleaning before every performance (all cleaning substances comply with EN14476)
Online booking and e-tickets (no need to print, just show on phone)
A new ticket delivery method to send tickets directly to ticketholders’ mobile phones (no queuing at the box office)
Remote bar ordering (no queuing at the bar!)
All staff undertaking Lateral Flow Tests regularly
Staff wearing face coverings and maintaining social distance where possible
