Fantastic Family Funnies for Terrific Telford

Fantastic Family Funnies for Terrific Telford

Come along to Stirchley Chimney in Telford's maginifcent Town Park for some family friendly stand-up comedy featuring James Cook, Jay Foreman and hosted by Cerys Nelmes!

Jay Foreman

Jay Foreman is an award-winning musical comedian whose songs have been heard on BBC Radio 4, Radio 4 Extra, The One Show, London Live TV and Dave Gorman's UK/Ireland tour.

Jay provides a devilishly cheeky songs and comedy for children of all ages in this family friendly set which regularly sells out its entire runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Cerys Nelmes

Cerys is one of the leading MCs on the UK and international comedy circuit. Buckets of laughs, buckets of fun and performs her comedy in a story telling style with a West Country charm that is easy to warm to.

James Cook

Not to be confused with the explorer, the bass player in the Arctic Monkeys, a character off of Skins, the BBC's Scotland correspondent, the Australian Rules footballer, the boxer, the square in Middlesbrough, the University in Queensland or the type of Mercedes Mini-van.

'An award-winning commercial radio presenter and stand-up comedian his laid back attitude, dry sense of humour and sharp tongue are a rare mix that always fascinates his audiences' (Funhouse Comedy). You can often find him performing at clubs such as The Glee, Jongleurs, Komedia among others, and he’s a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, either doing stand-up, or performing shows about board gaming.

STAY ALERT > CONTROL THE VIRUS > SAVE LIVES

Most performances go ahead rain or shine! But please note the following:-

If it’s raining at the start time, we’ll forge ahead in the hope that the rain will clear up soon. It will have to be raining very hard indeed for the start to be delayed.

If conditions become genuinely unsafe, for example if the performance space is flooded or there is a lightning storm, we will stop the show.

Light to medium rain won’t put us off, but if rain is heavy or torrential (and the audience can’t hear the performance) we will stop the show until the rain clears sufficiently for us to continue.

If we can’t go ahead due to the weather, we will transfer your tickets to another performance or refund your ticket money. If we get through most of the performance and then have to stop because of heavy rain, we’ll transfer your tickets to a different performance.
